What is Booking Guardian? 

Booking Guardian is flexible cancellation insurance that allows property managers to offer more generous cancellation policies while protecting their revenue.

How it Works: 

• A flat-rate premium is applied to bookings and collected at the time of purchase. 
• Coverage applies to eligible guest-initiated cancellations within a defined window prior to check-in. 
• Reimbursement is based on the difference between the original booking and any replacement booking, subject to applicable coverage limits and deductible terms. 
• In certain cases, the deductible may be waived if the unit is successfully rebooked for a minimum portion of the original reservation value during the same stay dates.

Key Information & Exclusions: 

• Only guest-initiated cancellations within the eligible coverage window qualify for reimbursement.
• Cancellations outside of the eligible timeframes prior to check-in are not covered.
• Coverage is subject to maximum stay length and reimbursement limits.
• Properties must be made available for rebooking following a cancellation in accordance with program requirements.
• Certain booking payment conditions may apply in order for coverage to be valid.
